The LSF 'Script Challenge' is aimed at script writers of all levels who enjoy writing short films and are looking to have them made by other filmmakers.
For this challenge we will be selecting 8 writers short film scripts for a group feedback session. Date to be confirmed.
The chosen scripts will be read aloud to a room of other writers and filmmakers where feedback will then be given from all aspects of the scripts development, foreseeing and enlightening any production issues within the script and allowing for constructive criticism.
SCRIPT CHALLENGE RULES
The script must be 3 pages maximum in length excluding the title page
The script must be properly formatted. (Good software: Final Draft and CeltX)
It must be a complete script with a beginning, middle and an end. Not a section from script written prior to the challenge.
The script can be any category (comedy, horror etc) all is welcome.
No old scripts allowed! The Script Challenge is there to push you to write new stuff not to submit old stuff.
Only 1 script submission per writer
No script is guaranteed to be made into a short film if selected, but feedback is guaranteed at the session.
It is your responsibility as the writer to copyright any scripts before the feedback session if you are worried about any plagiarism.
DO NOT SUBMIT A SCRIPT THAT YOU DO NOT WANT READ OUT IN THE FEEDBACK SESSION.
